Round The Corner

We’ve been here at Shah Industrial Estate 545 for a while now. Most people just know us as Round The Corner because that’s literally where we are in Banaswadi. It’s not a fancy place, just a spot where folks from the nearby units come by when they need a break from the noise of the machines. We started out small and stayed that way on purpose. There’s usually a bit of dust from the road and the industrial area is always busy, but inside here it stays pretty steady. We open up early most days because the workers are already around. Sometimes the power goes out in the estate and we just sit around and wait for it to come back on with everyone else. It’s just us running things, so if you come in and nobody’s at the front, we’re probably just out back fixing something or checking the stock. We don't really do much advertising or anything like that. People find us because they work nearby or they just happen to be driving through this part of Banaswadi and need a stop. It gets cramped when it rains and everyone tries to crowd inside at once. We’ve thought about moving or getting a bigger sign, but this spot at 545 is what we know. It works for us and the regulars don't seem to mind the old chairs. We just keep doing what we do every day. It's not a complicated life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
