Down here in Thiruvalla, Kerala, things move at a bit of a different pace. Robert Bosch India Ltd has a spot at Mundankoth Renju Nivas in Peringara. It’s a lot greener and quieter than our offices in the big cities. We like the peace here. The office is basically in a house-like setting, which makes it feel much more personal. We handle regional work and stay connected with the main branches. It’s a small operation, just a few of us really. We often share snacks and talk about local news while we work. The rain can be something else here, sometimes it pours for days and we just listen to it on the roof while we type away. We don't have big corporate banners or anything. People in the area know where we are. It’s a very simple life. We don't have to deal with the crazy traffic of Bangalore or Mumbai. We just walk or take a short ride to get here. The work is still serious, of course, but the atmosphere is much more relaxed. We don't use much fancy language in our emails or meetings. We just say what needs to be said. It’s a practical, honest way to run things. We’re glad to be part of the community here in Peringara. It’s a nice change from the hustle and bustle you find elsewhere. We just keep things moving.
