Our place is at 23/49 Kamagondanahalli, which is a bit of a tucked-away spot if you aren't looking for it. Metal scraps and tools are scattered all around the workshop. Being an engineering place, the sound of welding or grinding is always going on. Repairs and small fabrication jobs for people nearby are what we do. Grease is part of the job, and oil is usually on our boots. Machines have been my life for a long time, so this place feels like home to me. Old lathes and a milling machine sit here and still work perfectly fine if you treat them right. Sometimes a job is a bit tricky, and we have to sit and think about it for a while before we start cutting any metal. A small team of us works here. There isn't really a front office, so most people just walk right into the shop to talk to us. It can get pretty loud, and shouting over the machines is often necessary. Big industrial manufacturing isn't what we do. Fixing things that are broken or making parts that people can't find in the stores anymore is our main thing. A pot of tea stays going in the corner for when we take breaks. Hammers can be heard going if you come by Kamagondanahalli. It's simple work but it keeps us busy every day and helps keep the lights on.
