Ritu Rekha Sarees

Our little shop is located at 77 in Hanumanth Nagar, right near the Maruthi Circle. If you know Jodhpur Tekra, you probably know where this area is. It's a busy corner of the world, and the traffic around the circle can be a bit much during the evenings. Ritu Rekha Sarees is tucked away here among other local businesses. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a room filled with sarees of different types stacked up on wooden shelves. We spend the day pulling them out for people to look at and then folding them back up, which takes more time than you would think. The floor is just plain, and we have a few chairs for people to sit down if they are tired from walking. Sometimes the dust from the road comes in, so we are always dusting the counters. It’s a family-run kind of thing, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years. Maruthi Circle is a good landmark because everyone uses it to give directions. We don't do any flashy things here. It is just a basic shop where we show up every day and do the work. The sun hits the front window in the afternoon, making it quite warm inside. We just keep the fan going and wait for the next person to walk in and say hello. It is just a normal place for normal folks.
