Rewind

We are located in the Malad Industrial Estate, specifically at number 315 in the Kalyan Nagar area. It’s an interesting place to be because of all the factories and warehouses around us. Rewind started because we wanted to have a spot where people working in the estate could just take a break. It gets pretty loud and dusty around here during the day with all the trucks moving in and out. The space we have is simple, nothing too crazy. We’ve got some old furniture and a lot of memories. Some days are slow, especially when it’s monsoon season and the streets get flooded. Other days, we can barely keep up with everyone coming in at once. I spend a lot of my time fixing things around the shop or talking to the vendors who drop off our supplies. It’s a lot of manual work, but I like being my own boss for the most part. The neighbors are mostly other small business owners, so we all look out for each other. We don’t have a big corporate team or anything. It’s just me and a couple of helpers trying to make it work. We’ve been at this for a while now and don't plan on going anywhere else soon. It’s just a regular business in a busy industrial part of town. We stay open late sometimes if there's a lot of work to finish. It’s just the way things are here in Malad.
