Rekha Engineering Works

Rekha Engineering Works is located at number 16 in Rajajinagar, specifically on the 15th Cross in the 6th Block. It’s a small workshop where we spend our days dealing with metal and machinery. The sound of welding and grinding is pretty much the background music here. We have various tools hanging on the walls and pieces of scrap metal piled in the corners. It’s not a clean place, but it’s a working one. We’ve been in this part of the 6th Block for quite a few years now. The shutters go up early and stay open until the sun goes down. We do a lot of custom repairs and small fabrication jobs. My clothes usually have a few small burn holes from the sparks. It’s the kind of work where you’re always on your feet. We don’t have a website or any fancy marketing. Most people just walk in because they saw our sign or their father used to bring work to us. The floor is stained with oil and grease, which is just part of the job. Sometimes we have to work out on the pavement if a piece is too big to fit comfortably inside the shop. It’s a bit cramped when we have a lot of orders, but we manage. We just take one job at a time and try to do it right.
