Mathikere Road is always loud with traffic, and we are right there at number 61. Rehan Enterprises is basically just a small spot where we keep our supplies and wait for customers. Yeshwantapura has changed a lot over the years, but this corner stays pretty much the same. We open up early, usually before the tea shop next door starts getting a crowd. It’s just a few of us working here. Most of the day is spent on the phone or moving boxes from one side of the room to the other. We don’t have any big signs or bright lights. If you know where the turn is, you find us. The desk is a bit cluttered with old papers and pens that barely work. We deal with whatever the locals need that week. It gets dusty because of the road construction nearby, so we spend a lot of time wiping things down. It’s a simple living. Sometimes we close early if there is a festival or if the rain gets too heavy to stay open. We don't have a big corporate plan. We just show up and do the work that needs doing. It’s how things have been for a while now and we don’t see that changing anytime soon. My brother usually handles the deliveries while I stay back to mind the shop and talk to anyone who stops by.
