Our place is right on Mahathma Gandhi Road at Museum Inn 1, which is a pretty crowded area most days. If you’ve walked down MG Road, you probably know how it gets with all the people and cars everywhere. We’ve been set up here for a bit, just doing our thing. The kitchen is always a bit noisy with the fans going and the pots clanking around. We try to keep the tables neat, but sometimes during the lunch rush, it gets messy fast. It’s mostly just us trying to get the orders right and making sure nobody is waiting too long. The decor is simple, maybe a bit old-fashioned, but it’s comfortable enough if you just want to sit down. My cousin helps out with the seating sometimes when it gets really packed. We don’t really do anything special, just cook and serve. Sometimes the weather makes the place feel a bit humid, but we turn the fans up high. It’s nice seeing the same faces every week, mostly folks who work in the offices nearby. They just want their food and a quiet minute before going back to work. We don't have a big fancy sign, so you have to look for it. It feels more like a kitchen at home than a big restaurant. That's just how we like to run things here on this busy street. There are plenty of other options around, but we just stay focused on our own daily tasks.
