Rarewala Engineering Works

We are over at No. A-03 in the HMT Industrial Estate, Jalahalli West. If you know Bangalore, you know this area has a long history with engineering and machinery. Rarewala Engineering Works isn't a big, fancy factory. It’s a practical workspace where we spend our hours among lathes and drills. The estate is a bit quieter than the main city, which is nice, but it’s still very much a working environment. We start our days early before the sun gets too high, getting the equipment ready for whatever jobs came in the day before. There’s no marketing team here, just a few of us who know how to handle the machines. Most of our tools have been with us for a long time and we know their quirks. We get a lot of local business from other shops in Jalahalli who need something specific made or a part repaired. It’s the kind of place where we keep the doors open to let the breeze in, even if it brings in a bit of dust. We don’t spend much on decorations; the walls are mostly covered with calendars and old tool charts. It’s a steady kind of life. We take pride in just getting the specs right and making sure the metal is cut the way it needs to be. It’s not fancy, but it’s what we do every day. We just hope the power stays steady and the machines keep running.
