We are over here in the Ravi Industrial Estate, right off Tumkur Road. If you know the area, it's pretty busy and sometimes finding our gate No 21/5 is a bit of a pain because of the trucks. Ramu Machinery has been tucked away in this industrial suburb for a while now. Most days it’s just us dealing with the noise and the machines. We spend a lot of time on the floor. It’s not a fancy office. There’s grease on the desks and the fan in the corner makes a weird clicking sound. We usually start early before the sun gets too hot. Opp CMTI is the landmark everyone uses. The traffic on the 2nd stage road can be a nightmare in the evenings. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. Some of the guys have been here since the start. We drink a lot of tea from the stall down the lane. It’s a bit dusty, especially when the wind picks up across the estate. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It's just a group of people who know how to handle the equipment. Most people who come by are regulars who have been buying parts or getting repairs for years. They know we are just across from the big CMTI building. It's a practical place for practical work.
