Ramdev Fancy & Gift Centre

Our shop is over on 6th Main, right in the A P M C Yard area of Cooke Town. It’s a busy part of town with a lot of trucks and movement, especially in the early mornings when the loads come in. We have been here for years, selling all sorts of fancy items and gifts. The store isn't very large, so we use every inch of wall space to hang things up. You can find bangles, hair clips, and small decorative pieces for the house. We also have a section for birthday gifts and toys. It gets pretty dusty because of the location and the trucks, so we are always wiping down the glass cases. People from the yard often come in to buy things for their families before they head home. It is a practical kind of place. We don’t have air conditioning or anything, just a few ceiling fans that keep us going through the heat. The floor is old tile, and the counter is a bit worn from all the years of use. We know the other shopkeepers around here well. It feels like a small community inside this big yard. We just keep the shop stocked with what sells. It’s honest work and we enjoy seeing the familiar faces every day. There is always something to do, even if it's just rearranging the shelves for the tenth time to make things fit better. It's our daily life here.
