Aishwarya Flower Decoration

We started Aishwarya Flower Decoration at 22/1 7c in Dodda Mavalli a few years back. Flowers are what we do every day. It gets very busy during the wedding season or when there are festivals. We usually have piles of jasmine and marigolds everywhere. The shop smells nice most of the time, though it gets a bit messy with all the stems on the floor. My hands are usually stained from the sap and the string we use. We do decorations for small house parties and sometimes bigger events if someone asks. Being in Dodda Mavalli means we see a lot of the same faces. We aren't a big company with a website or fancy office. It is just a workspace where we put together garlands and stage setups. I wake up early to get the fresh stock. If the flowers aren't good that day, I worry. My cousin helps me out when we have a big order to finish by morning. We use a lot of roses too. People just walk in and tell us what they need for their puja or wedding. We try to listen and just do what they want. It’s hard work, standing all day and moving heavy frames. But it is what we know how to do. Sometimes we drink tea while we tie the strings. It’s just how things go here at our spot in the neighborhood.
