You can find us at number 883 in Srinagar, specifically in the Raghavendra Block area on the 50 Foot Road. It is a busy stretch of road and there is always something going on outside the front door. We have a lot of neighbors who run different kinds of stores, so there is a nice community feel here. Our shop isn't very large but we make the most of the space we have. We’ve got the watches lined up in the glass cases and some clocks on the walls. Most of the people who come in live just a few streets away. They know us by name and we know which watch belongs to who most of the time. It is a simple life of opening up in the morning and seeing what needs fixing that day. Sometimes a kid will come in with a broken plastic watch and we try to see if we can get it ticking again. Other times it is a heavy gold watch that has been in a family for years. The 50 Foot Road can be quite loud with the traffic but once you are inside the shop it feels a bit more settled. We don't have a big corporate setup or anything like that. It’s just us in the shop, doing the work and talking to the locals.
