Ramana Caterers

You can find us at No.1 on 5th B Cross in Ejipura. It’s right on Residential Association Road, which is a bit of a mouthful to say, but most people just know it’s near Sundari Memorial School. Ramana Caterers is a small operation, really. We’ve got a tight space here, but we’ve managed to organize it so we can handle quite a bit of work. Usually, the street is filled with parents and kids during the school hours, so we try to get our heavy lifting done before they arrive. It’s a bit of a squeeze getting the vans in and out sometimes. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves of pots and large burners. We don't have a big staff, just a few reliable people who know how to cook for a crowd. It isn't always easy keeping everything running smoothly, especially when we have three orders on the same day. We spend a lot of time cleaning up and prepping for the next morning. There’s always someone peeling onions or sorting through bags of rice. We don't put much stock in fancy logos or big signs. Most of our work comes from people in the Ejipura area who have seen us around for years. It’s hard work, and the kitchen gets incredibly hot in the afternoons, but it’s what we do. We’re just regular people making food for the community as best as we can.
