Rajamahal Vilas Club

Rajamahal Vilas Club has been around RMV 2nd Stage for quite some time. You can find us at 15th Cross, right near where the 3rd Main meets the corner. It’s not a flashy place, just a building where people from the neighborhood show up to spend their afternoons. Usually, it’s quiet until the evening comes around. Then you hear the sounds of chairs scraping on the floor and the clink of glasses. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place tidy, wiping down the tables and making sure the fans are working. It gets hot in the afternoons, so those fans are pretty important. Most of the folks who come here have been doing so for years, so they know exactly where their favorite spot is. We don’t change things much because people seem to like it the way it’s always been. The garden area outside needs a lot of water, especially in the dry months, and I’m often out there with a hose in the morning. Inside, the rooms have that old smell, a mix of wood and maybe some tea. It’s a comfortable place to sit if you aren’t in a hurry. We don’t do things fast here; everything sort of moves at its own pace. If you’re looking for something modern or high-tech, this probably isn’t it. It’s just a club on a quiet street where the neighbors talk.
