Raj Engineering. We’ve been at Btm Bye Pass for a while now. It’s a busy spot. Usually, there’s a lot of dust from the road and the noise of trucks passing by never really stops. Inside the shop, things are a bit messy. We have benches piled with tools and metal scraps. It isn’t some fancy office with glass walls. It’s just a place where we get work done. Most days start early with a cup of tea from the stall nearby. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly things people bring in needing a quick fix or some custom welding. Sometimes the machines act up and we spend half the morning just getting things running right. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the metal roof. We don't have a big team, just a few guys who know their way around a lathe. Customers usually know us by name. They drop off stuff and we tell them when it'll be ready. There’s no fancy tracking system here, just notes on a notepad that’s seen better days. The floor is stained with oil and there’s always a smell of burnt metal in the air. That’s just how it is. People find us because we’ve been in this corner for years. It’s not a glamorous life but it keeps us busy and the bills paid.
