Our workshop is located at No.276 in the Sundar Industrial Estate, right off Mysore Road. If you know the New Timber Yard Layout, then you know exactly where we are. It is a busy area with a lot of noise from the surrounding units. Inside our space, we have the machines running for most of the day. The floors are concrete and usually have some metal shavings or oil on them by the afternoon. We have a small team here, and most of us have been working together for several years now. We do engineering work, so it involves a lot of measuring and cutting. It’s not a quiet office job. We wear our work clothes and don’t worry too much about the grease. The building itself is older, but the machines inside are kept in good shape because that is what matters for the jobs we take on. Sometimes we have to stay late to finish a particular order if the deadline is tight. We usually eat our lunch together in the small break area. It is a very practical environment. We don’t have any flashy signs or a big lobby. Most people find us because they are already in the industrial estate or they heard about us from another shop nearby. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in. The daily grind here is just about making parts that fit and function correctly for our customers.
