Rahimaniya restaurant

Rahimaniya is situated on Broadway Road in the Shivaji Nagar area of Bangalore. We are very close to Russell Market. If you’ve ever been to Shivaji Nagar, you know how crowded and lively it is. There are stalls and shops everywhere. Our restaurant fits right into that. It’s an old building and we’ve been here for many years. The kitchen stays busy from morning until night. We serve mostly meat dishes that people travel from other parts of the city to eat. The place isn't big. The tables are often shared by strangers when it’s busy. It’s a bit cramped, and the waiters have to balance plates carefully as they move around. We don't have air conditioning, just the ceiling fans and the open door. The smell of charcoal and spices is always there. We don't do any marketing. Word of mouth is how people find us. Some families have been coming here for generations. It’s not a place for a quiet, romantic dinner. It’s a place for good, honest food. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are too busy to think about that most days. We just focus on the cooking. That’s what matters to us and our customers. It is loud and busy, but that is Shivaji Nagar for you. We just keep the stoves burning and the plates moving all day long for whoever comes by.
