You have to look a bit carefully to find us in Bapuji Nagar. We are located in the Cv Raman Ward, tucked right behind the St Bunglow. It’s a quieter part of town, which is nice because we can focus on the work without too much noise from the main road. The workshop is where I spend almost all my time. We have some lathes and some welding equipment that takes up most of the floor space. It gets pretty warm in there during the afternoon, especially when the machines have been running for a few hours. I usually have the radio on in the background, playing whatever station has the least static. Radhika Engineering isn't a massive company. It’s just a place where we make things and fix parts that people bring to us. Sometimes a neighbor will drop by with a broken gate or a piece of a tractor that needs a new weld. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the door is open, you just walk in and yell hello over the sound of the machines. The desk in the corner is buried under blueprints and old invoices. It’s a bit disorganized, but we always manage to find what we need eventually. We just take one job at a time and try to do it right without making a mess of things. It’s steady work and it keeps us busy through the seasons.
