Race View Sanman Deluxe Restaurant

Our place, Race View Sanman Deluxe Restaurant, sits at No.25 on Race Course Road. If you know Bangalore, you know this road gets really packed. We are right near the Janthadal Central Office, so there are always people in suits or carrying folders walking past. It can get quite loud with the horns and the buses. We open up pretty early to get things ready. It’s a lot of work getting everything prepared before the first person walks through the door. The building is just an ordinary one, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just tables and the smell of whatever is cooking that morning. We have been in this 560001 area for a long time. You see the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels like a small community even though the city is so huge. Sometimes the rain starts suddenly and everyone crowds inside to stay dry. We just keep doing what we do, day in and day out. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s our life. We don’t really have a big team, just a few of us working together. We try to make sure there is enough space for everyone to sit, though it gets tight during lunch. It’s just a regular restaurant on a busy Bangalore street. We don’t have any big plans, we just want to keep the doors open and the kitchen running.
