R N S Engineering

You can find us at 65 Peenya 2nd Stage, situated on 1st Street along the 7th Cross. It is a typical engineering setup where we deal with a lot of mechanical tasks every day. The workshop isn't very large, but we have managed to fit in all the essential machines and workbenches. Working in Peenya means you’re surrounded by industry, so the sound of metal hitting metal is just background noise to us now. We spend most of our hours standing on the hard floor, wearing out the soles of our boots. The 7th Cross can get quite muddy when it rains, making it a bit of a mess to move equipment in or out. Inside R N S Engineering, things are mostly organized by what we use the most, though the tool rack always seems to be missing a specific wrench right when you need it. We have a small corner with a table where we keep the registers and take a break for lunch. Most of the work involves fixing parts or making small adjustments for other local businesses. It’s the kind of place where you learn to work with your hands and not worry too much about the heat or the noise. We’ve been in this part of the 2nd Stage for a while and know the rhythms of the street, like when the tea stall gets busy or when the traffic starts to pile up.
