R. G. K. Engineering Enterprises

R. G. K. Engineering Enterprises is located right on the 100 Ft. Road, near Jalahalli Cross. Our specific unit is No. 7, 23/2B-2. It’s a good spot because the road is wide and it’s easy for trucks to get in and out when we have deliveries. We do various engineering jobs here, mostly involving machining and fixing parts for bigger industrial machines. The shop is filled with lathes and drills and the heavy smell of cutting oil. It’s a smell you get used to after working here for ten minutes every morning. We’ve been at Jalahalli Cross for many years and have seen the 100 Ft. Road get busier and busier every year. We started this place because we wanted to work for ourselves and handle the technical side of engineering work. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements over and over to make sure things fit right. Sometimes we stay late when there is a tricky job to finish or a machine breaks down, but we don't really mind the extra hours. The tea stall nearby keeps us going on those long afternoons. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms; we just wear our work clothes and get grease on our hands like everyone else. If you are coming from the main junction, just look for No. 7 along that stretch of the 100 Ft. Road. We usually have the front doors open so you can hear the machines.
