R C Engineering is tucked away on Peenya Chincholi Bundar Road. We are in unit 403/2 over in Malad West. It is a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't familiar with the area. The street outside is usually lined with parked bikes and delivery vans. Inside our place, it usually smells a bit like oil and metal. We have been here for a few years now. It is a small shop where we do a lot of the technical work ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or anyone like that. Usually, if the phone rings, whoever is closest to the desk picks it up. We have some old machines that still work better than the new ones we bought. My brother and I run most of the daily stuff. We spend a lot of time looking at blueprints and measuring parts. It can be quite tiring standing on the concrete floor all day. We try to keep the place tidy, but when we are busy with a big job, tools tend to end up everywhere. It is a practical space, not a showroom. We get our lunch from the little stall down the road most days. We are just honest people trying to do a good job with our hands. It's not a big company, just our local engineering outfit. We have been on this road so long we know every pothole by heart. It is just how life goes.
