R A N Time Traders

Setting up shop in Chickpet means you get used to the noise early on. We are located at number 11 on P S Lane, right across from the City Meredian Hotel. If you know this area, you know how packed the streets get with people and carts moving things around all day. It’s a busy environment for a business like R A N Time Traders. We focus on watches and various timekeeping pieces for the trade. Most days are spent unpacking crates or checking stock that just arrived from the suppliers. The space is a bit cramped because we have boxes stacked up everywhere, sometimes reaching the ceiling. It’s not a fancy showroom with bright lights and mirrors. We keep things functional and simple. Traders come through here looking for specific parts or batches of watches to take elsewhere. I usually have a cup of tea sitting on the desk that gets cold because I’m busy talking to someone or checking an order. The hotel across the way is a good landmark for people who haven't been down this lane before. Working here, you see all kinds of people from different parts of the city. We don't really do much in the way of fancy displays. It’s more about getting the items in and out. The floor is old tile and the ceiling fan hums quite a bit. It’s just a regular Chickpet trading spot. We open up early and stay until the shutters go down for the night.
