Quality Engineering Industries

Our shop is on the ground floor over in Kalyani Gardens, right in the N R Colony area of Banashankari 1st Stage. Quality Engineering Industries is where we spend our time working on various parts and pieces. It is a bit of a crowded space because of the machines, but we make it work. Most days, you will hear the sound of metal being worked on as soon as you walk in. We don't have a big front office or anything like that. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free. It’s a local operation, and we’ve been in this part of Banashankari for quite some time. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice. We get a lot of people coming in with specific drawings or just a part they need fixed or made. We try to be practical about things. If something can't be done, we say so. There isn't any fancy talk here. We just focus on the lathe or whatever machine is running that hour. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just how it is. It gets a little oily on the floors, so we try to keep it clean as much as possible. It is a solid place for people who need engineering work done without any fuss. Usually, we are here from early morning until late evening. My hands are usually stained with grease.
