Our workplace is Pressmach Pvt Ltd, located at 320 in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically on the Mithakhali Under Bridge Road. If you know Peenya, you know it’s the heart of the manufacturing scene around here. It’s noisy, it’s dusty, and there are trucks everywhere. We fit right in. Our building is a solid structure that handles a lot of heavy work. We deal with presses and industrial machinery. The floor is mostly steel and oil. We don't have fancy decorations on the walls, just some calendars and safety posters. The heat can get pretty intense during the afternoons, especially with the machines running. We have a crew that’s been together for years. We understand how the presses work better than anyone else. Most days involve a lot of clanking metal and loud talking to be heard over the noise. We aren't here to make things look pretty. We are here to make sure the parts are pressed correctly and shipped out to the customers who need them. The road outside under the bridge gets flooded sometimes when it rains hard, which makes things interesting for everyone trying to get home. We just take it as it comes. It’s a hard-working environment, and that’s exactly how we like it. We focus on the metal and the machines, and we leave the rest to others. It is a good way to earn a living.
