Premachandra Sagar Kalyana Mantapa

Running the Premachandra Sagar Kalyana Mantapa is a lot to handle some days. We are located over at 264/266 Byrasandra, not too far from the Ashoka Pillar area. People usually find us easily because Mithakhali Six Road is a landmark everyone knows. It’s an old part of the city. We spend most of our time getting the hall ready for weddings or family functions. There is always a lot of sweeping and moving chairs around. We see a lot of families coming in with big plans for their ceremonies. Sometimes it gets a bit stressful when two weddings are back-to-back, but we manage. The staff here has been with us for a while. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. It’s just us on the ground making sure the lights work and the water is running. Being near Ashoka Pillar means there is a lot of traffic outside, so we usually have someone helping with the parking. It's a regular marriage hall, nothing too flashy. We just try to make sure the place is open on time. Sometimes the flowers get delivered late or the cook needs extra space, and we just deal with it as it comes. It is a busy life in Byrasandra, especially during the wedding season. We’ve seen many generations get married here. It’s just what we do every day at the mantapa. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days but it is how we have always run things here. We just keep the place ready.
