Prathibha Engineering Works

We started this shop over in Bommasandra quite some time ago. It's on 1st Main, right at the 7th Cross. Most days you'll find us covered in oil and metal shavings because that’s just how it goes here at Prathibha Engineering Works. People around the neighborhood know the sound of our machines running from early morning. We handle a lot of different jobs, mostly things that come through the door from local factories or folks needing a specific part fixed up. It isn't a fancy place with a big lobby or anything like that. Just a solid workshop where the work gets done. Sometimes the floor is a bit messy when we are busy with a big order, but we find what we need. The machines are old but they run well because we take care of them. My father used to say if you treat the iron right, it treats you right. We don't spend much time on the computer or doing paperwork if we can help it. Usually, we are just out back working on a piece of steel. If you drop by 9 Bommasandra, you might have to shout over the lathe to get our attention. That is how we like it though. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy enough to keep the lights on. We don’t do big ads. Mostly it’s just people telling their friends where to find us when something breaks. We just do the work.
