Pragathi Engineering Works

We are out at Kamakshi Palya, near Shiva Farm on Magadi Main Road. The specific number is 135 2. This area is quite different from the city center. It feels more industrial and open. Pragathi Engineering Works has been operating out of this spot for a while. It’s a workshop environment, so don’t expect anything polished or fancy. We’ve got our tools, the machines, and plenty of grease around. The Magadi Main Road is a busy route, so there are always trucks and heavy vehicles passing by. Shiva Farm is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The space itself is quite large, which we need for the engineering stuff we do. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons under the metal roof, but we have some fans going to keep the air moving. There’s a lot of metalwork and noise, which is just the nature of the job. Most of us here have been doing this for years. We know the machines inside and out. It’s a place for hard work and getting things fixed or built. We don't have a fancy office; just a small desk in the corner for the bills and the phone. It’s a bit rough around the edges, but that’s because we actually do real work here. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-project with the radio playing in the background. That is just how we run things every single day.
