Pragathi Engineering Works

If you are ever driving down the Hosur Main Road, you can find us in the Bommasandra Industrial Area. Pragathi Engineering Works is sitting right across from the big S.K.F. factory. It is pretty easy to find once you see the factory gates. We have been operating in this industrial belt for a lot of years. The shop floor is usually quite noisy because the machines are always running. It is not the cleanest place in the world, but it is an engineering shop, so we expect some grease and dust. We usually have oil on our hands by lunch. Pragathi Engineering Works is not some big corporate entity with hundreds of layers. We are just a local workshop. We take on all kinds of different jobs. Some days we are doing small repairs for local people, and other days we have bigger projects that take weeks. We just take everything as it comes through the door. The heat in Bommasandra can be really tough during the summer months, but we just keep the big fans going and stay busy. We do not have a fancy website or someone to do our marketing. We just have our tools and our years of experience. People come to us because they know we have been on this corner forever. We have seen many other shops start up and close down. We just keep going.
