Polynation Restaurant Austin Town

Our place is located up on the third floor of the Adarsh Opus building. It's the same building as the Lifestyle store, right where Campbell Road and Victoria Road meet in the Austin Town area. Being on the third floor means you have to take the elevator or the stairs, so we aren't always the first place people see when they’re walking on the street. But once you're up here, it’s a bit quieter than the noise and chaos downstairs. We’ve got a view of the busy junction, which is always packed with cars and bikes. Bangalore traffic is really something else, so it’s actually quite interesting to watch it from above while we work. The kitchen is tucked away in the back, and that’s where most of the action happens. We spend a lot of time prepping before the first customer even shows up for the day. It’s a bit of a trek for the suppliers to bring everything up to the third floor, but we managed to get a good system going over time. We don’t really do much in the way of big advertising or anything like that. Most people find us because they’re already shopping in the building or they live nearby in Austin Town and heard about us. It’s a practical setup for us. We try to keep the tables neat and the service moving along as best we can. Some days are slow, giving us time to catch our breath, and other days it feels like we can’t move fast enough to keep up. It’s just a normal restaurant job.
