Based in AECS Layout, Chinnappanahalli, our office is on the main road at 20/1. Insurance is a lot of forms and talking. We spend our time explaining things to folks who walk in. It is not glamorous work. Files are everywhere. Most of us have been here a long time. HAL 2nd Stage is a good spot to be in. We have seen this part of town change a lot from our office window. Insurance is what we do, which mostly means we sit at desks surrounded by stacks of paper and folders. It is a lot of reading fine print and making sure names are spelled right on forms. People come in looking a bit worried about their cars or their health policies. We just sit them down and go through the paperwork one page at a time. It is not exciting work but it is necessary. The office is not very modern. We have some old filing cabinets that squeak every time you open them. HAL 2nd Stage has a lot of traffic, so we hear the honking all day long. There are four of us working here. We take turns going to the bank or meeting clients at their houses. We do not have a mission statement on the wall or anything. We just try to get the paperwork done without too many headaches. It is a steady job and we have been doing it long enough that we know the rules by heart. It is just a regular office life in a layout.
