Paramedical Admission

Paramedical Admission. Our office is on the 7th floor of the South Block in the Manipal Centre. It’s a big building on Dickenson Road, so it can be a bit of a maze if you haven’t been here before. We spend our time helping students and their parents figure out how to get into nursing or pharmacy courses. There is a lot of paperwork involved in admissions. Applications, certificates, verifying documents—it never really ends. We sit at our desks and talk to people about which colleges might have seats left. It’s a lot of phone calls to different institutions. Some days are very long, especially when the admission season is at its peak. We don't have a big flashy lounge. It’s just an office with chairs for people to wait. We try to be honest about what’s available. If a course is full, we say it’s full. People come to us because they are confused by all the different rules and deadlines. We’ve seen many students go on to start their careers in hospitals. It’s a nice feeling when things work out for them. We just keep track of the dates and the requirements. It’s practical work. Bangalore is busy, and Dickenson Road is always jammed, but up here on the 7th floor, it’s a bit quieter. We just keep the files organized and try to make the process a little less of a headache for everyone involved.
