The Resource Center

The Resource Center is over at Ittina Apartments, G-1, which is on the 5th Main. We are in the RRV Layout area, pretty close to the Apna Bazar in Bangalore. If you know that landmark, you can find us easily enough. The space belongs to Miss Mary Pereira and we are currently working out of here with Mr. Mark Fernandes. It’s a bit of a different setup since it is an apartment building rather than a standard office block. This gives it a more lived-in feel, I suppose. We do our work for The Resource Center from the ground floor. It’s handy being near the market because we can run out and get supplies or snacks whenever we need them. The rooms are filled with folders and papers and the usual office gear. It isn’t always the neatest place, but we know where everything is. Sometimes the neighbors’ kids are playing outside and you can hear them through the windows. It’s just a normal day-to-day environment. We don't go in for anything flashy. We just sit at our desks and get through the pile of things to do. Bangalore traffic is always a topic of conversation here when someone arrives late. We just try to stay organized and help out whoever comes through the door. It’s a small, functional spot for us to handle our business affairs and keep everything moving along as it should.
