Padma Nag Music

Our shop is located out on L P Savani Road in the Adajan area of Surat. It is situated in the Chickpet part of the neighborhood, and the address is 312. We have been here for some time now, surrounded by instruments and musical gear. The space is filled with strings, cases, and various things people need for their music. It is not the most organized place you will ever see, as we often have items tucked away in corners or stacked on shelves that reach up high. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and dusting off the displays, though the dust always seems to find its way back in. There is usually some music playing in the background, or someone is testing out a guitar or a keyboard near the front window. People stop by to ask questions about repairs or just to look at what is new in the shop. The street outside can get pretty noisy with all the cars and bikes going past, especially during the rush hours. We are just a local spot for folks who like music or need to get something fixed. It is a simple business, really. We mostly just sit here, talk to the customers who come in, and handle the day-to-day tasks of running a music store in Surat. It is a bit cramped inside, but we know where everything is. We like it that way.
