P M K Architects is located at 8/201Batavia Chamberskumara Krupa Road. It’s a busy area and there’s always something going on outside the window. Inside the office, it’s usually just the sound of clicking mice and pens moving on paper. We’ve been here at Batavia Chambers for quite some time now. We are architects who just enjoy the process of putting a building together from scratch. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a set of corporate rules. We just get up, come to the office, and start working on whatever project is on the desk that morning. Sometimes it’s a big project that takes months, sometimes it’s just a small change to a plan. We treat them mostly the same. The commute on Kumara Krupa Road can be a bit much, so we tend to arrive early and stay late. Our office is a bit cluttered with rolls of drawings and old catalogs that we should probably throw away. We don't really tidy up unless we know someone is coming over. We are just regular people who happened to study architecture. We don't think we're better than anyone else. We just try to be honest about what can and can't be done with a space. We’ve seen a lot of clients come and go over the years. Most of them are just looking for something that works for their lives. That's what we try to give them. No frills, just the work.
