We are located in the Krishna Reddy Industrial Area, right near the big K.R. Puram cable-stayed bridge. It is a busy spot with lots of trucks moving around all day long. Our workshop is at 59/2 on the 1st Cross in Doorvani Nagar. It is a typical engineering setup with machines, tools, and a lot of metal scraps lying around. The noise of the machinery is something we have just gotten used to over the years. We handle various fabrication and repair jobs for local businesses and sometimes for people who just walk in with a broken metal part. It gets pretty dusty in here, especially when we are grinding or welding things for a project. We are not a big corporate factory, just a group of guys who know how to work with metal. Most of our work comes from word of mouth around the industrial area. The bridge is a good landmark because everyone knows it, though it makes the traffic a nightmare during rush hour. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot to work comfortably. Our floors are stained with oil and there is always a project half-finished on a bench somewhere. We do not have an office staff, so if you call, one of us usually wipes their hands on a rag before picking up the phone. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Sometimes we stay late.
