Orient Restaurant

You can find us in Koramangala, 7th Block. We're on the first floor of building 340. It’s on the 1st B Main Road. This area is always full of people, especially younger folks hanging out after work or college. We started the restaurant because we liked cooking for people. It’s a bit of a climb up the stairs but it’s worth it once you get inside. We serve regular food that people like to eat for lunch and dinner. I’m usually in the kitchen or standing by the counter checking the orders. It gets really hot in there during the afternoon rush. We don't have fancy decorations, just tables and chairs that work and are comfortable enough. Sometimes the music is a bit loud from the street below. Koramangala is like that, always moving. We've been here for a few years now. The 7th Block has so many places to eat, so we just do our thing and hope people like it. We don't try to be anything we're not. It’s just a place to get a meal and a drink. The staff has been with me for a long time and we are like a small family. We know the regular customers by their names and what they usually order. It’s a lot of washing dishes and chopping onions every single day. That's the reality of it. We don't have a big menu, just stuff we know how to make.
