Orbitz Corporate & Leisure Travels India Pvt Ltd has been operating out of Richmond Town for quite a while now. We are tucked away on 4th Cross, 10th Main, which is near the 2nd Stage of Indira Nagar at 100/1. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you find the big tree near the corner, you’re basically there. The building is older but it stays cool in the summer which is a blessing. We have some desks pushed together and a lot of filing cabinets that are starting to overflow with paperwork from years of bookings. It’s not just one person doing everything; there’s a small group of us who handle the corporate side and the families who want to go on vacation. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the papers get mixed up when we’re in a hurry. The street outside is usually lined with scooters and the occasional delivery truck blocking the way. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, with new cafes opening up every other month. Our office still feels like the old version of the city, though. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the cricket scores while we wait for the computers to load. It’s a decent place to work and we’ve gotten to know the regulars who come by quite well over the many seasons we have been here.
