Our office is right there in Girish Complex, just across from the Syndicate Bank in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a small space, mostly filled with desks and a couple of chairs for people to sit while they wait. We handle a lot of travel stuff, mostly booking flights or helping people figure out bus timings. Gandhi Nagar is always crowded, so there’s a lot of noise coming in from the street, but we get used to it. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit to confirm a ticket, which can be annoying when the place is full of people. We spend our day staring at screens and talking on the phone to airlines or hotels. It isn’t glamorous work, just a lot of typing and checking dates over and over to make sure nothing is wrong. We see all kinds of people, from students going abroad to families just wanting a short break somewhere nearby. The office gets a bit messy with brochures and printouts, but that’s just how it is when you’re busy. We’ve been at No. 1 for some time, and people know they can just drop in. We don't have fancy coffee or anything, just a fan going and someone ready to look up a fare. It’s just us doing our bit to get people where they need to go without too much fuss. There is always a lot of paperwork to sort through before we close up for the night.
