Our office is over at 161 in Chamrajpet 2nd stage. Chamrajpet is one of those older parts of the city where the streets are a bit narrow and there’s a lot of history in the buildings. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, though our street stays mostly the same. It’s a quiet enough area compared to the main junctions. The building we are in is a simple residential-looking place that’s been converted for work use. We don't have a lot of space, just a few rooms where we keep our files and desks. Most of the furniture is mismatched because we just added things as we needed them over the years. It feels more like a home than an office, which is fine by us. There’s a small balcony where we keep some dying plants and a few chairs for when we need some fresh air. We don't really have visitors often, but when we do, we usually just sit around the main table in the front room. The plumbing is a bit finicky, so you have to jiggle the handle on the toilet, but you get used to it. We don't have a big team, just a handful of us who show up every day and do what needs to be done. It’s a low-key operation without any of the fancy trimmings you see in the newer parts of town. We keep a box of biscuits in the cupboard for when someone gets hungry. The doorbell doesn't work, so people usually just knock loud.
