Om Shakthi Engineering Works

At Om Shakthi Engineering Works, we deal with a lot of iron and steel every day. Our shop is at 50/A Prakash Nagar, and you can usually hear the sound of grinding or welding before you even see the sign. It’s a gritty place with black soot on the walls and metal shavings on the floor. I started this because I like working with my hands. We do everything from window grills to heavy gate repairs. If someone in the neighborhood needs a frame fixed or a custom bracket made, they usually walk over here. It’s not a quiet job. The heat from the welding torches makes it pretty warm in here during the afternoons. We don't have a website or anything like that; we just rely on people knowing we are here. Most of our tools are old but they work fine for what we need to do. When a customer brings in a drawing, we look at it, figure out how much material it needs, and give them a price. We don't do fancy talks. If the weld is solid, the job is done right. Some days are slow, but other times we have five different projects piled up near the entrance. We just take it one piece at a time. It’s a local business through and through, and we like being part of the Prakash Nagar community where everyone knows everyone else.
