Nova Times

Nova Times is based out of the 2 BDA Shopping Complex. We are in the Gidc Ie Makarpura area, but the address also lists HSR Layout, which can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We basically operate out of this shopping complex because it’s where the people are. We spend our days looking at clocks and watches or dealing with time-related stuff, which is what Nova Times is all about. The BDA complex is a familiar place for everyone in the neighborhood, so it feels like home to us. It’s a practical location. You’ve got other shops around, people doing their grocery shopping, and then there is us in our little corner. The office space is packed with whatever we are working on at the moment. It isn't always the tidiest place, but we know where everything is. Being in Vadodara and having a presence in HSR Layout keeps us busy. We don't spend a lot on decorating the place because we’d rather just get the work finished. People come in to ask about repairs or new pieces, and we just tell them how it is. It’s a straightforward business. We like the rhythm of the shopping complex. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works for us. We’ve been here long enough that we don't really think about moving. It is just a regular shop doing regular things for regular people.
