North Rasuyi

North Rasuyi is located in R T Nagar at Appanna Block. We are at No.15 on the 1st Main Road, which is quite near the HMT Layout. It is a quiet enough corner compared to some other parts of the city. We have been running this kitchen for some time now. Rasuyi means kitchen, and that is exactly what we are—a place where food is made for people who want a taste of the North. We don't have a fancy dining area with waiters. It is more about the food itself and getting it to the customers. We spend a lot of time getting the spices right and making sure the lentils are cooked just so. R T Nagar has a lot of people who appreciate a home-cooked feel, and we try to provide that. The building is just a regular house that we have adapted for our needs. We don't have big flashing lights or billboards. Our neighbors know us and sometimes they stop by just to say hello. It is a small-scale operation, and we like keeping it that way because we can keep an eye on everything. We handle the shopping and the cooking ourselves. Every morning starts with the same routine of getting the stove going and preparing the dough. It is simple, hard work, but we are used to it by now and enjoy being part of the local neighborhood.
