Nobel Times

You can find Nobel Times over at Nandini Complex right across from Krishna Jeweller in Nagarbhavi. We’ve been here for a good while now selling and fixing watches. It’s a small shop but we fit a lot into it. The walls are covered in clocks of all sizes and the ticking sound is something you just get used to after a few days. We do a lot of battery replacements and strap changes for people who live around here. Sometimes a person brings in an old watch that belonged to their grandfather and they want to see if it can run again. Those are the jobs we like the most because they have a story. Nagarbhavi is a nice area and we have regular customers who stop by just to say hello while they’re out shopping. The shop isn't very modern looking and we like it that way. It’s got a wooden counter and glass shelves that have been there since the beginning. We open up early and stay until the evening. It’s just a normal routine for us. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. People just know where we are. Dealing with tiny parts requires a lot of patience and good light so we have a few extra lamps behind the counter. It’s a steady way to make a living and we enjoy being part of the local community here. It’s just us doing our thing every day.
