Niya Tech Engineering Works

Niya Tech Engineering Works is located down at 53, Ist Cross in the Krishna Reddy Industrial Area. Being opposite TTK and near the Vijinapura Railway Gate means we hear the trains going by all day. It’s a noisy spot but you get used to the vibration after a week or two. Our place is on FCI Main Road in Doorvani Nagar. It’s an industrial neighborhood through and through. There is always a truck blocking the road or someone unloading something heavy next door. We have our machines set up in a way that makes sense to us even if it looks a bit tight to visitors. The floor is usually stained with oil and there’s always a pile of shavings near the lathe. We started small and just kept adding a machine here and there. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us with grease on our hands. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking the specs twice. It’s not the kind of job where you can rush. The local tea stall is just around the corner and that’s where we do most of our thinking. It’s a practical life. We work hard, go home tired, and come back to do it again the next day. The railway gate stays busy and the traffic can be a mess, but we don't mind. It’s just how life is in this corner of the city.
