Nineth Mile Dhaba

Our place is out on Bellary Road, right near the Jakkur Flying Club in Yelahanka. If you’re driving toward the airport, you’ll find us in the Allasanadra area. It’s a bit of a trek from the main city, but people seem to find their way here easily enough because of the flying club nearby. You can often see the small planes taking off while you’re around this part of town. The Dhaba is set up to be simple. We don’t have any big signs or flashy lights, just a spot on the road where you can stop. The pin code is 560064, and it’s a lot more open out here than in the middle of Bangalore. The air feels a little different, maybe because of all the space around the club. We spend a lot of time getting things ready before the lunch rush starts. It’s mostly just us and the noise from the road. We’ve stayed in this location because it works for us and the people who travel this route. It gets dusty sometimes with the Bellary Road traffic, but that’s just how it is. We aren't trying to be anything other than a roadside dhaba. The staff usually knows the regulars by face. We just keep things moving, cooking and cleaning without making a big deal out of it. It’s a plain place for a meal when you’re passing through Yelahanka on a long drive or just coming from nearby.
