Navnikh Times

Navnikh Times is our little shop in Jayanagar 4th Block. We are right there on 27th Cross, 10th A Main Road, basically next to the Citi Bank ATM. If you walk past it, you’ll see our sign. We handle watches mostly. It’s been at this 313/18 1 address for quite some time now. People come in when their battery dies or if a strap breaks. We also sell some clocks for the house. Jayanagar is a busy place, but this corner stays pretty steady. My father started working with watches years ago and I just kept it going. It’s quiet work, looking at small gears and tiny screws all day. Sometimes the parts are hard to find for the older models, but we check around. The shop isn't very large, so it gets crowded if more than three people come in at once. We don't do much advertising, mostly just folks in the neighborhood who know we are here. Sometimes people stop by just to ask for directions since we're near the ATM. It’s a simple business. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. We've seen many shops come and go on this street, but we’re still here at the same spot. It’s a good community. You get to know the regulars who pass by every day on their way to the park or the market. We are just glad to be here and serving the locals.
