Nandini Components

If you head down Madadi Main Road and turn into Kamakshi Palya at the 2nd Cross, that is where Nandini Components is located. We are right there in Kaveripura. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes if you aren’t used to these streets. We deal with various components and small parts here. The shop is usually filled with the smell of metal and a bit of oil. It is a humble setup. We don’t have a big showroom or anything like that. Instead, we have shelves packed with things that people need for their machines. My hands are usually a bit dirty from moving stock around. The traffic on the main road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but it's quiet enough back here on the cross. We’ve been in this neighborhood for a good stretch of time. We know which tea stall has the best snacks nearby. Most of our work is just checking orders and making sure the right parts go to the right people. It isn't glamorous work, but it is necessary for the shops we supply. We don’t spend much time on the computer, mostly we are on our feet. If a customer comes in confused, we just show them the pieces and see what fits. It’s a practical way to run things. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again the next day.
