N. K. Precision Components

We are tucked away on the 2nd Main in Narayanappa Setty Palya, which is just off Bannerghata Road. It’s number 47 if you’re looking for the gate. The area is always buzzing because Bannerghata is such a main artery for the city. At N. K. Precision Components, we mostly focus on the small stuff. The workshop floor has these rows of machines that hum all day long. It isn't the quietest place to spend eight hours, but you get used to it. The air usually smells like cutting oil. We have a small team, and everyone knows their spot. Our office area is basically just a corner with a couple of filing cabinets and a desk that’s always covered in blueprints or scribbled notes. Sometimes we have to move boxes of finished components out of the way just to get the door open properly. It’s a tight space but we make it work. The street outside can get pretty clogged with bikes, so getting deliveries in and out takes some patience. We usually eat our lunch together in the small space at the back. We aren't trying to be some massive factory; we just focus on making sure the parts we make actually fit the way they are supposed to. It’s a lot of checking and re-checking. By the time we lock up at night, the machines are finally silent, and we head back into the traffic.
